For authors and indie writers
Hear your manuscript with a full cast before you publish.
Dialogue reads differently when the characters have different voices. Upload a draft, let ImmersivePage build a cast, and listen to the chapter the way a reader will experience it — on the commute, doing dishes, eyes closed. Clunky lines, repeated words and mis-tagged speakers jump out in a way they never do on the page.
No credit card. Trial: one book up to 50,000 words, five hours of listening.
What you get
- A distinct voice per character, plus a narrator — assigned automatically, then yours to change.
- A Cast step to fix who says what before you listen; on Pro, fix voices while listening.
- Scene ambience and effects in Light or Cinema mode, or Voice only when you just want the words.
- Import what you have: DOCX and pasted text on the trial; EPUB and PDF on Standard and Pro.
- Audiobook export on paid plans, for your own review copies.
- Premium voices you connect (ElevenLabs, Google, OpenAI, Fish Audio) on Pro, using your own keys.
What it is — and what it is not
ImmersivePage is a proof-listening tool: an audiobook-like way to hear writing that has no commercial recording yet. It is not a replacement for a studio audiobook narrated by a professional, and it does not try to be. It is a fraction of the cost and the time, it is ready in minutes, and it will make you a better editor of your own dialogue.
Will it get every line's speaker right? No. Smart attribution gets most of it, and the Cast step exists because "most" is not "all". Plan to review the cast for each chapter — it takes a few minutes and it is also where you discover the lines you left ambiguous.
Voices and keys. The hosted service runs Kokoro and Piper neural voices on our servers, and your browser's built-in voices are always available. Premium cloud voices (ElevenLabs, Google, OpenAI, Fish Audio) are bring-your-own: you connect your own account and pay that provider directly. We do not fund third-party TTS from your subscription, which is what keeps the plans at $7.99 and $14.99.
Publishing or selling the audio. Personal proof-listening and the export options are for your own workflow. Before treating any output as a retail audiobook, check the voice licences, your publishing agreement and the platform's rules (Audible, Spotify and others differ, and AI-voice terms vary by provider). When in doubt, ask us or your rights holder first.

Questions writers ask
What file formats can I import?
Trial: Word (.docx), pasted text or plain text. Standard and Pro add EPUB and PDF, and Pro unlocks the full import set as we enable more (scan and dictation are in progress).
Is my manuscript private?
Your books live in your own library and are not shared, listed or used to train anything. See the privacy policy for the details, including which third parties see text when you connect your own voice provider.
How is this different from the catalog stories?
The catalog stories on the home page are directed by us — every line reviewed, scene moods and sound cues authored by hand. Your own books get the automatic version of the same engine: a cast and scene detection built on the fly, which you can then correct. Good enough to hear your draft honestly; not a finished production.
How do I cancel?
From the billing portal linked in your account. Subscriptions are generally non-refundable except for billing errors. Questions: [email protected].
